The water-technology@drinktec symposium takes account of the increasing importance of water technology and water management for sustainable beverage production – a topic that is a strong focus at drinktec. The symposium provides lectures, discussion sessions and information about the subject of water on all exhibition days.
Everything about water
Water is a vital resource and essential for the brewing and beverage industry. This, however, is only one aspect. Water fulfills many other functions in production - whether as process water, energy carriers or for cleaning. The water demand and water consumption is therefore correspondingly high.
For this reason, the holistic consideration of the way resources are consumed in the production process is becoming increasingly important for manufacturers of beverages and liquid food. Economic factors, but also image concerns - in relation to sustainable production - play an important role here.
Many exhibitors offer solutions that help to reduce water consumption. And for many trade visitors – especially the managers responsible for sustainability and energy – this is precisely the continuing task in their daily work in the company.
At the water-technology@drinktec symposium, trade fair visitors will find out more about innovative solutions, holistic concepts and practical examples for sustainable water management in the brewing, beverage and liquid food industry.
Exhibitors, representatives from manufacturing companies and experts from science and research will offer discussions and give lectures, short and to the point. The symposium is organized by the VDMA Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association, the conceptual sponsor of drinktec.
