  • What does it cost to exhibit at drinktec 2017?

  • Where can I order a custom-designed stand?

    Our service partner Meplan GmbH has been looking after the stand-design and construction needs of our exhibitors from all around the world for the last 15 years.

  • What´s the procedure if I want to exhibit at drinktec 2017?

    Application: The first step is to fill out and sign the application form and then send it to us. We can then take your needs into account when planning the space.

    Start of placement: Your chances are good if you get your application to us before we start placement (February 2016). This is when we do the first draft of the layouts in the halls, and decide on how the limited space is to be divided up.

    Placement offer: After receipt of your application, we check the space options and make you a placement offer (starting in June 2016).

    Admission: After we receive confirmation from you that you accept our placement offer, you are then officially admitted as an exhibitor to drinktec 2017.

  • How do I apply to exhibit at drinktec and is there a deadline for sending in applications?

    Apply to exhibit at drinktec 2017

    To apply, you need to fill out in full and sign the application form and then send it to us. Using the information you enter in that form, we check whether your company is eligible to exhibit at the fair. We recommend you send us your application before we start placement planning (in February 2016), so that we can take your wishes as regards your stand into account as best we can. Early booking is also a good idea because then you get the most out of all the services we offer to drinktec exhibitors. There is no official deadline for receipt of applications.

  • What exactly are we booking when we send in our application form?

    When you send us your application form, what you are requesting is purely stand space. In addition to the charge for exhibition space, there are also fees for the following services: obligatory communication charge (covers, e.g. basic entry in the online exhibitor directory and in the catalog), the AUMA contribution (Association of the German Trade Fair Industry), a charge for disposal of waste during the running time of the show, and a pre-payment charge for services at the show. The prices are set out in the application documents that are available from the end of September 2015.

    Exhibitors have the opportunity of ordering an unlimited number of printed vouchers or online vouchers for one-day tickets that they can send to their customers inviting them to attend drinktec. All the vouchers for one-day tickets that are then actually used are included in the price of participation and they are not charged extra.

    Each exhibitor receives a certain number of exhibitor passes free of charge; the number depends on stand size.

    Other services such as stand construction, fittings and supplies (e.g. partition walls, carpets, electricity), additional exhibitor passes and marketing and press services can be ordered in our Exhibitor Shop as required. We will inform you automatically as soon as the Exhibitor Shop is up and running.

  • When is the start of placement and when do we get our placement offer (stand location and stand number)?

    In February 2016 we start to plan the layout of space in the halls. We start sending out placement offers in June 2016.

  • When do we get our admission invoice?

    We start sending out admission invoices at the end of October 2016. The deadline for payment is May 2017.

  • Can co-exhibitors also exhibit on our stand space? If so, how are they applied?

    Application of co-exhibitors

    Exhibitors are allowed to be apply co-exhibitors on their stand space. Please note: The co-exhibitor application form has to be filled out and signed by the main exhibitor. For each co-exhibitor there is an obligatory communication charge. The prices are set out in the application documents that are available from the end of September 2015.

    The charge for the co-exhibitor is billed to the main exhibitor.

    All co-exhibitors have the same advantages as the main exhibitor, i.e. they are listed separately as exhibitors in the trade-fair catalog and in the online directory of exhibitors.

    A co-exhibitor is an exhibitor that exhibits at the stand of a main exhibitor with his own personnel and own offering. This includes companies within a group and also subsidiaries.

  • Can additionally represented companies also exhibit on our stand space? What is the difference to co-exhibitors?

    No it is not permitted to apply additionally represented companies. Exhibitors can, however, register co-exhibitors on their stand space.

    An additionally represented company is one whose products or offering is offered by the main exhibitor without having any own personnel at the stand.

  • How many exhibitor passes do I receive as an exhibitor?

    Each exhibitor receives a certain number of free exhibitor passes for his stand, covering the running time of the fair. The number of passes is dependent on size of stand.

    Extra exhibitor passes can be ordered from our Exhibitor Shop. We will inform you automatically when this shop is open for business.

  • What are printed or online vouchers for a one-day ticket? How many do I receive as an exhibitor?

    A voucher for a printed or online one-day ticket is a voucher for a free entrance ticket to drinktec. You can use it to invite your customers to visit the show. It´s a useful tool for your professional invitation and contacts management—and can be very effective in attracting people to your stand!

    Exhibitors, co-exhibitors and companies at joint stands can order an unlimited number of vouchers for one-day tickets (printed or online). All the vouchers for such tickets are included in the price of participation, and are not invoiced separately, regardless of how many vouchers were requested or actually used.

    You can order vouchers from our Exhibitor Shop. We will inform you automatically when this shop is open for business.

  • Which additional services can I book?

    Exhibitor services

    As an exhibitor you can book a range of additional services. For example, professional stand building, custom designed and featuring the latest technology. Or exhibitor passes, marketing and press services, and support with preparation for the fair. Details on all the services and information on how to book is available for you in the Exhibitor Shop. We will inform each exhibitor automatically when this shop is open for business.

  • If I cancel my participation, what cancellation costs can I expect?

    Cancellation charges apply if you cancel after you have sent us written confirmation of your acceptance of our placement offer. Cancellation must always be in writing. If we can find another exhibitor to take over your booked space, then the cancellation charge to you is 25 percent of the participation price, as a flat fee. This charge covers the services that we have already provided (planning, concept and publicity, administration etc.). If we are unable to rent out your space to another exhibitor, the cancellation charge is 100 percent of the participation price. No cancellation charges apply if you cancel between sending us your application and receiving your offer of placement.
