young_talents@drinktec – The Career Day for the Beverage Experts of Tomorrow
|Where?||drinktec Forum, Hall A2, Stand 250|
|When?|| September 11, 2017
College students, vocational students and trainees in various educational and training programs in Germany and Austria are invited to attend drinktec on this day to exchange information with the industry's leading companies.
Completed your degree or training program? What now?
Students and trainees often have questions and uncertainties about getting started in the working world. What opportunities and distinguishing factors does the beverage industry have to offer and what are its prospects for the future?
young_talents@drinktec has answers to these and other questions. Besides personal contacts with exhibitors and like-minded people, the supporting program will deal with three focal points in the morning when speakers from various positions and sectors will make presentations.
After that, there will be plenty of time to visit the fair in the afternoon. Manufacturers will present the latest technologies for manufacturing, bottling and packaging beverages of all kinds—raw materials and logistics solutions included.
As a result, young_talents@drinktec is also interesting for students in the following fields: mechanical engineering, process technology, chemical or bioengineering, biotechnology, mechatronics, material sciences, electronics, food chemistry, computer science and packaging technology.
Details about the agenda and presentation topics will be available in the event database as of early summer 2017.
Presentations will be made in German.
Presentation focal points:
- What makes the industry sexy?
- What expectations prevail in the industry and/or among young talents?
- What is the difference between entering the workforce with a bachelor's or a master's degree?
Tickets to young_talents@drinktec career day are free of charge for all vocational and college students, who will be invited through their universities and vocational schools.
Admission tickets are also available at the fair and are free of charge upon presentation of a student ID.
